I mistakenly re-tweeted the "news" that probably Virginia U.S. Senate candidate Tim Kaine had his domain name, www.TimKaine.com, snapped up by Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli. Not true -- the domain is owned by a Republican operative who bought it seven years ago, when Kaine was gearing up to run for governor, and he passes it around. And he did not invent this trick. Observe what happens when you visit www.KenCuccinelli.com.
Kaine's .com dream is dead, and has been for years. But "the .org address is in safe hands," says a Democratic strategist who seems amused by this.
