Here's some synergy from earlier today. At his weekly press conference, Mitch McConnell suggested that Democrats were under-estimating how politically popular cuts could be.
"I think there are two examples of gubernatorial leadership people ought to look to," he said, "Andrew Cuomo in New York and Chris Christie in New Jersey. Both of them are enjoying rising approval ratings in their states as they cut spending."
About 45 minutes later, Sean Hannity opened up a segment of his show by saying "I'm impressed with this governor, Cuomo."
