Young Americans for Liberty at War with Young Americans for Freedom Over Ron Paul

I reported on Saturday that Young Americans for Freedom had expelled Ron Paul from its advisory board. The expulsion happened before the straw poll votes were official; it was announced the moment that Paul won. And it came as a shock to Young Americans for Liberty, Paul’s youth organization, which is generally on good terms with YAF and other conservative/libertarian youth groups.

No longer! The press release of the day so far:

Adam Wood, coordination intern at Young Americans for Freedom, resigned from his position today due to the organization’s recent attacks on Congressman Ron Paul immediately following the results of the CPAC straw poll… Adam Wood, former Douglas County, Kansas coordinator for Ron Paul’s 2008 presidential campaign, has parted with the group along with many other members.

And YAF’s bulletin board on Facebook is taking on pro-Paul, anti-YAF comments, such as this from Adam Sanacore:

Screw these pieces of shit. Screw all of them. This man has dedicated his life to defending out troops, and these scumbags have the nerve to do this to him? What a joke.

Like the man with the hat says, developing…
