The vote to send the tax deal back to the House was almost as much of a rout as the cloture vote had been. I’m checking the votes against one another to see who voted for cloture but against the bill; so far I noticed that retiring Sen. Byron Dorgan voted for cloture but against the bill, Sen. Sherrod Brown voted against cloture but for the bill, and and Sen. Ron Wyden, who wants to immediately pivot to tax reform, skipped the first vote but voted no today.
