The former governor has weighed in on the tax cut deal (he’s agin’ it) but had not weighed in on the conservative victory in Henry Hudson’s court. I got this response from Romney spokesman Eric Fehrnstrom.
The ruling supports Mitt Romney’s view that Obamacare isan unconstitutional power grab by Washington. We should repeal the law andreturn to the states the power to determine their own health care solutions.

Romney signed into law in Massachusetts
, which includes a mandate to buy insurance, is always name-checked by a happy-sounding President Obama when someone challenges the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act’s mandate. The argument, of course, is that states can decide whether or not to mandate such things, while there is no right given to the federal government to do this. It’s a needle Romney has kept threading as he’s attacked by conservative pundits and possible 2012 rivals.
