What Democrats Can Learn from Their Big 2010 Upset Win

I spent some time talking to Democrats in Colorado about how, exactly, Sen. Michael Bennet (D-Co.) survived a stiff Republican challenge and won re-election despite trailing in the polls. It’s an inspiring tale, if you’re a Democrat, but not one that will be easy to repeat elsewhere.

The best hope Democrats have was expressed by liberal radio host David Sirota: “We may be headed back to the choice between the Giant Douche and the Turd Sandwich.”
