This is obvious, isn’t it? The last time Sarah Palin mentioned the name of the Republican candidate she endorsed for U.S. Senate in Alaska – the only candidate she endorsed that she could actually vote for – was on election night, in an interview with Neil Cavuto. She briefly discussed the legality of write-in votes and said “I hope the results come in quick and that they’re on the right side.”
That’s it. No Facebook posts or tweets about Miller. It’s not like she’s staying out of the picture with the candidates she endorsed – she

support for North Carolina congressional candidate Renee Elmers when her opponent demanded a recount. So she’s on the sidelines while the NRSC and Jim DeMint raise funds for Miller.

, pointing out that we’ll know just how doomed Miller is as absentees come in – if he doesn’t gain much ground (or if he loses it) his path to victory depends on disqualifying more than 13,000 write-in ballots, or 16 percent of them, when even he says he expects 8 percent of them to be vulnerable to challenges. Hence the silence from Palin. (Of course, if this post prompts Palin to attack the “lamestream media” and defend Miller, he can thank me.)
