With the results yesterday, we’ve got our final read on how badly the Tea Party upset the Republican establishment.
Delaware (2/2)
Establishment picks: Mike Castle for Senate, Michelle Rollins for House
Tea Party picks: Christine O’Donnell for Senate, Glen Urquhart
Results: Tea Partiers strategically attacked this state with a tiny Republican electorate and, as far as most people are concerned, have produced the only state where Democrats will sweep in two months.
Maryland (0/1)
Establishment pick: Bob Ehrlich for governor
Tea Party pick: Brian Murphy
Results: Ehrlich easily defeated Murphy, who had jumped in face first and gotten the faintest of second winds when Sarah Palin endorsed him.
New Hampshire (0/3 so far)
Establishment picks: Kelly Ayotte for Senate, Frank Guinta and Charlie Bass for House
Tea Party picks: Ovide Lamontagne for Senate, multiple candidates for House
Results: Chalk it up to the multiple candidate problem. Guinta looks set to win with 32 percent of the vote, Bass with 43 percent, and Ayotte currently leads a too-close-to-call race with 38 percent.

Establishment picks: Rick Lazio for governor, Joe DioGuardi for Senate, Neil DiCarlo and Matt Doheny for House
Tea Party picks: Carl Paladino, David Malpass, Ana Hayworth, and Doug Hoffman
Tea Party picks: The big headline went to Paladino, who destroyed Lazio, but the rest of the candidates with the most Tea Party support lost. That won’t matter in the Senate race, but Republicans feel more confident about their shots at two House seats having nominated their preferred candidates.
