Mr. Castle, I'm Ready for My Close-Up

If Delaware's Christine O'Donnell is ready the " next Joe Miller " and the beneficiary of coming attack ads on behalf of the Tea Party Express, is she ready for it? I see that O'Donnell's campaign is finding itself grappling with new oppo and attacks a function of how she's being taken more seriously. She rebuts or pre-buts a number of things Republicans had been starting to say about her in a blog post at her site, helpfully illustrated with a pair of boxing gloves.

MYTH! She doesn't actually owe the IRS any money!

MYTH! Her house was not actually foreclosed on she sold it!

MYTH! She is a resident of Delaware, despite what people say!

O'Donnell's main problem: Unlike Miller, who was a veteran successful lawyer in conservative Fairbanks, she doesn't have much of a narrative beyond "kill the RINO," and she hasn't I'm sorry had a very impressive career in political consulting. Her finance reports reveal that she's paid about $13,000 a quarter for some consulting for some relatively small-time groups. You'll know Mike Castle's in danger if we start hearing about this. Also, here's how the Tea Party Express is selling her to its list.

We here at the Tea Party Express have enjoyed the opportunity to work with hundreds of thousands of supporters such as yourself to help take our country back.  We've helped defeat sellout Democrats like Bart Stupak and Arlen Specter.  And we've helped ensure victories for great candidates like Sharron Angle in Nevada, Mike Lee in Utah, Marco Rubio in Florida - and now, hopefully, Joe Miller in Alaska.

Today we are announcing another candidate that we are going to help propel to victory.  Her name is Christine O'Donnell and she is running for U.S. Senate in Delaware.  This is the seat previously held by none other than Vice President Joe Biden.  You've probably seen Christine O'Donnell on TV where she's been invited to appear as an analyst and commentator on Fox News Channel among other outlets.

And perhaps most importantly, she is running against Congressman Mike Castle who is one of the most vile RINO's you will meet (Republican In Name Only).  Congressman Castle has repeatedly attacked the tea party movement and conservatives, and he has proudly boasted about his liberal voting record while in Congress.

But wait, it gets better.  This is a Special Election, meaning that the winner will be seated the day after the election - which means Christine O'Donnell could be the deciding vote in the U.S. Senate to block the Obama-Pelosi-Reid agenda during the "lame duck" session after November's elections, but before the new Congress is sworn in.

We're looking for 500 patriots such as yourself to help us kick-start this campaign for Christine O'Donnell by making a contribution of $100 or more to support her campaign.  And we need 75 people to make a contribution of $500, $1,000 or more.   You can contribute as little as $5 up to the FEC-allowed donation of $5,000.
