There was no TMZ back in 1997. But now, 15 years after the Notorious B.I.G. was shot to death in LA, the gossip website obtained a lurid autopsy report about the still-unsolved murder.
The report provides graphic details about all four of the gunshot wounds sustained by Christopher Wallace, aka Biggie Smalls, who's listed at 6-foot-1 and 395 pounds. It shows that three of the bullets that struck Wallace as he sat in the passenger seat of a Chevy Suburban proved nonfatal, hitting him in the forearm, back, and left thigh. Only one of the shots was fatal, entering Biggie's right hip and tearing through his colon, liver, heart, and lung before coming to a stop in his left shoulder.
Smalls was pronounced dead at Cedars-Sinai Hospital at 1:15 a.m. on March 9, 1997.
According to TMZ, the coroner listed Wallace as "morbidly obese" and made a note under a section called "Other Pertinent Information" that said "decedent may be rap singer."
