The George Zimmerman Autograph You’ve Been Waiting for

George Zimmerman is looking to boost his defense fund by offering potential donors a thank-you card “personally signed by George.”

The former neighborhood watch volunteer, who killed Trayvon Martin in February after reporting the unarmed teenager as suspicious to police, is free on $1 million bail while he awaits trial for second-degree murder. Zimmerman’s defense fund took in $1,000 a day at one point, but he’s since blown through the estimated $350,000 it raised.

Zimmerman has said on his website that new donations would go toward his living expenses first, then costs associated with the case next, and finally, to his defense lawyers, who have yet to be paid. “We are, of course, maintaining the confidentiality of donors,” the website says.
