Stephanie Bongiovi, daughter of rocker Jon Bon Jovi, was hospitalized after overdosing on heroin earlier this week in a dorm room at her college in upstate New York. She now also faces drug charges after investigators obtained a search warrant for the Hamilton College dorm and found heroin, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Officially, Bongiovi is charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors, as well as unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
Jon Bon Jovi's representative hasn't commented, but he is scheduled to perform at a concert to benefit Hamilton's scholarships and arts programs next month.
