Don't expect former U.S. Army General and CIA Director David Petraeus back in government service anytime soon—unless you've fired up your copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
Petraeus shows up in the vaunted new game serving as secretary of defense in the year 2025, under a president who looks very much like current Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and on board an aircraft carrier named the "USS Barack Obama."
Petraeus wasn't personally involved in the cameo, according to the game's publisher, Kotaku.
The latest "Call of Duty" sequel hit stores Tuesday, an annual event marked by mass productivity lapses by gamers.
