Britney Spears might be on her way to becoming a rare quadruple threat: singer, dancer, actor, and … author?
The Hollywood Reporter suggests Spears is close to signing a book deal with It Books, an imprint of HarperCollins. The trade paper speculates that the novel might be a fictionalized version of Spears’ own experiences, similar to Lauren Conrad’s L.A. Candy, a 2009 semi-autobiographical novel based on Conrad’s time on The Hills.
Whatever the case, Britney would be in good company in her literary efforts—the Kardashians and Snooki also recently penned books. We await the inevitable movie version.
