Lindsay Lohan To Get the Barbara Walters Treatment

Lindsay Lohan is trying to get her life back on track—again—and the first step this time appears to be an exclusive interview with Barbara Walters.

The troubled 26-year-old actress made headlines last week after her father leaked an audio recording of a phone call  that followed a tempestuous fight between Lindsay and her mother Dina. Lohan later called TMZ to say the fight was a “heat of the moment” thing, and she has now cut ties to her father.

Lohan will sit down with the iconic newswoman in the coming weeks and discuss the parallels of her life and that of Liz Taylor, including drug addiction and child stardom. Lohan plays Taylor in the biopic Liz and Dick, and her interview will coincide with the film’s debut on Lifetime Nov. 3.

Of course, if Lohan really wants to draw parallels to Liz Taylor, she might want to spend less time in court and more time on set.
