Will Chris Brown make it through five years of probation, and can the rest of us endure all the drama?
Since he was sentenced for the 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna, the 23-year-old singer has been involved in a club brawl in New York and several other incidents. Now, a random drug test has come up positive for marijuana.
Brown appeared in court Monday to face a judge in Los Angeles, where he produced a medical marijuana card to help explain the positive drug test. But the judge seemed more concerned with an unauthorized trip to Paris and “somewhat cryptic” community service reports from Brown’s native Virginia.
The judge warned Brown to stay out of trouble until his next hearing on Nov. 1. At least one person is rooting for him. Before Brown’s latest court appearance, Rihanna wrote on Twitter: “Praying for you and wishing u the best today!"
