Could this be the last gasp of Levi Johnston’s 15 minutes of fame?
The former almost son-in-law of Sarah Palin has become a father for the second time. And he has managed to one-up the Palins in the strange-first-name department by naming his daughter after a gun. TMZ reports that Johnston’s girlfriend Sunny Oglesby gave birth this week to Breeze Beretta Johnston. That’s Beretta, as in the Italian firearm manufacturer.
Breeze becomes half-sister to Tripp Palin, the son Levi fathered with ex-fiancee Bristol Palin in 2008. Johnston and Oglesby, a 20-year-old schoolteacher, admitted in April the pregnancy was unplanned.
We can only hope that Breeze Beretta and Sunny Oglesby don’t become fodder for a sequel to Levi’s memoir or rejuvenate his attempts to get a reality show. Regardless, Sarah and Bristol Palin are probably somewhere smiling right about now.
