The iPhone apparently isn’t the only smartphone that can generate buzz from a few well-timed leaks. Nokia is reportedly planning to roll out its new Lumia 920 phone this week and pictures and details about its features are ricocheting around the Web.
According to The Verge, the new device will utilize wireless charging, courtesy of a portable charging pad. And the reports say Nokia’s flagship new Windows device will also include 32 gigs of storage, 1 gig of RAM and a 4.5 inch HD screen. For good measure, the camera on board will be 8 megapixels and feature Nokia’s PureView technology.
All of which figures to make the Lumia 920 a “shiny new thing” when it becomes available later this fall, except of course that Nokia’s latest device is likely to find itself utterly eclipsed by Apple’s rollout of a little thing called the iPhone 5.
