Other stars can now be green with envy—Taylor Swift’s new single from her upcoming album Red is trending on the charts and in the Twitterverse.
The country and pop singer announced her fourth new studio record slated for an October release during a live Web chat with fans this week. She says the album, two years in the making, was inspired by past relationships Swift was in these last two years and "emotions—spanning from intense love, intense frustration, jealousy, confusion, all of that—in my mind, all those emotions are red."

Swift’s new song, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," tells off an ex-boyfriend. Clad in a red dress with red lipstick, Swift told adoring fans the 16-track album would boast cryptic liner notes with secret messages. Oh man … does it come with a decoder ring, too? We hope so—teenage love is so complicated and confusing!
