In the surest sign yet that political views are NOT genetically determined, consider the case of Brad Pitt and his mother. The actor supports President Obama and gay marriage, among other liberal causes. His mom? Not so much.
Jane Pitt has written an Op-Ed in Missouri’s Springfield News Leader that implores fellow Christians to overlook any concerns about Mormonism and vote for Mitt Romney. Mrs. Pitt goes on to say that failing to vote amounts to casting a vote for the President, whom she calls: “Barack Hussein Obama, a man who sat in Jeremiah Wright’s church for years … and is a liberal who supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage.”
No reaction from her son, though Brad did tell the Hollywood Reporter earlier this year that his mom doesn’t have an ounce of malice in her.
