Jenny McCarthy is back where she started her career—as the centerfold. At 39, the blonde bombshell is making her sixth cover appearance on Playboy and baring all in an eight-page spread inside the magazine, her seventh pictorial.
McCarthy told People “I’m really proud of it. The pictures are really gorgeous and classy. It’s probably a lot more sophisticated than a lot of the stuff you’d see of people with their clothes on.”
McCarthy first made waves as a 1993 centerfold who went on to be named Playmate of the Month and Playmate of the Year, moving on to hosting MTV’s Singled Out, and a television and film career. She has also been an advocate for environmental issues and autism research—her son, Evan, is autistic.
A nicely-aged sex symbol, McCarthy may be—but she’ll need to do a few more photo shoots before she can hang with the creds of Farrah Fawcett. The late Fawcett did her last Playboy spread at age 50.
