Jenny McCarthy Goes Back to Where Her Career Started: Playboy

Jenny McCarthy is back where she started her career—as the centerfold. At 39, the blonde bombshell is making her sixth cover appearance on Playboy and baring all in an eight-page spread inside the magazine, her seventh pictorial.

McCarthy told People "I'm really proud of it. The pictures are really gorgeous and classy. It's probably a lot more sophisticated than a lot of the stuff you'd see of people with their clothes on."

McCarthy first made waves as a 1993 centerfold who went on to be named Playmate of the Month and Playmate of the Year, moving on to hosting MTV’s Singled Out, and a television and film career. She has also been an advocate for environmental issues and autism research—her son, Evan, is autistic.

A nicely-aged sex symbol, McCarthy may be—but she’ll need to do a few more photo shoots before she can hang with the creds of Farrah Fawcett. The late Fawcett did her last Playboy spread at age 50.
