Monsters Inc. fans, forget about a sequel. But how about a prequel?
Pixar is bringing back Mike and Sulley in Monster's University, which tells the story of their pranking college years. The release of the first trailers has generated much joy on Twitter and may be the perfect tonic for those too freaked out to see that other "monster" prequel Prometheus.
Monster's University will hit theaters in the summer of 2013 and will bring back Billy Crystal, John Goodman, and Steve Buscemi from the 2001 release, which earned over $500 million at the global box office.
Pixar can only hope that Mike, Sulley, and company will have the same staying power as Woody and Buzz.
