It appears Drake gave Chris Brown a taste of his own medicine at a Manhattan nightclub Wednesday night, after the two rap stars reportedly got in a scuffle over Rihanna.
The Daily News reports that according to a police source, the brawl began after Brown sent a bottle to Drake with a note about the multi-platinum singer, who Drake dated following her break-up with Brown and his notorious assault on her in 2009. Drake apparently threw a bottle at Brown, leaving him with a gash on his chin, and leaving broken glass all over the club floor. Promoters, rappers, and attendees alike all took to Twitter to deliver their own version of the story.
Drake is obviously not a fan of bullies, having cut his teeth in show business playing Jimmy, a character paralyzed by a bullied friend on the Canadian teen soap opera Degrassi. From a paralyzed kid on a teen sitcom to a guy throwing bottles in the club—that’s one weird career trajectory you’ve got there, Drake.
