As the Penn State sex abuse trial continues, a recent high school graduate, known as Victim 1, is testifying against former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky.
Victim 1’s accusations against Sandusky lead to an investigation and 52 charges of child sex abuse for the former defensive coordinator. An additional seven accusers stepped forward after Victim 1, as did two eyewitnesses. Victim 4 has already taken the stand, and key witness Mike McQueary is expected to testify that he saw Sandusky rape a boy in the football locker room showers.
Sandusky’s attorney maintains his client’s innocence, and says the alleged victims are lying for financial gain.
