The political reporting world collectively smacked foreheads this week, when Bill Clinton—the president who is unfortunately more famous for sexual encounters in the oval office than a giant surplus we could all use right about now—posed with porn stars with a photo at a William J. Clinton Foundation fundraiser in Monte Carlo.

Shared by rising adult film star Brooklyn Lee on Twitter, the photo features a grinning former chief with Lee, adult film actress Tasha Reign, and reported drug testing company executive Jennifer Taule.

Clinton came close to impeachment during his second term in 1998, for perjury and obstruction of justice relating to an affair with Monica Lewinsky and a sexual harassment lawsuit from Paula Jones.

The porn stars were reportedly first rebuffed by Secret Service, but then the former president beckoned them over for a warm embrace. With Clinton now officially stumping on behalf of the president, Obama better watch out—hanging with the wrong crowd can get you in trouble, no matter how tempting it is.
