The name’s Bond, James Bond … and he’s back.
The trailer for Skyfall, the latest and 23rd installment of the Bond franchise, has been released in all its edit-heavy glory. The first Bond film in four years again stars British actor Daniel Craig and promises the usual fare. Explosions? Check. Exotic countries? Check. Automatic weapons, runaway trains, and alluring women? Check, check, and … check.
But the quick cuts leave us to wonder about an important plot point: Is the title of the film a person, a 007 mission, or a bond villain’s plan for total annihilation? Excepting the chance to interrogate someone from the cast, we may have to wait until the film drops in the United States in October.
