In the world of Hollywood lawsuits, it’s the equivalent of taking out the big guns.
The first masseur who sued John Travolta for sexual assault has hired Gloria Allred, the celebrity civil rights lawyer who has put everyone from Rush Limbaugh to Donald Trump in her sights.
Radar online reports that Allred has stepped in after John Doe No. 1’s first lawyer, Okorie Okorocha, dropped the lawsuit. Allred says another suit may be coming, depending on what he client wants to do. “We are in the process of conferring with him regarding the next steps,” she said.
Of course, even hiring the big guns may not be enough. Travolta’s lawyer has already provided proof his client was in New York when the alleged unwanted sexual advances occurred in Hollywood. John Doe No. 1 may be in the market for a cash settlement.
