Spotify, the music-streaming service offering songs from a range of major and independent record labels, has finally made its way to the hallowed device that is the iPad.
According to Mashable, the company took their time to make sure the app was just right, and had three goals in mind when making it: "create a true stereo replacement, enable better discovery, and allow users to better interact with their music."
To those ends, Spotify makes use of AirPlay, allows users to quickly switch between related artists to help them discover new music, and includes social features like a Facebook login; and subscribe, share, and search functions for users. Now, if Spotify could just improve your friends’ taste in music, they could charge a pretty penny for it.
