Justin Bieber’s Boyfriend Video To Premiere on MTV

Teen heartthrob and Rachel Maddow impersonator Justin Bieber is ready to unleash the full force of his new video for the hit single “Boyfriend” on MTV this week after a live sit down introduction with perennial MTV mouthpiece VJ Sway.

Released at the end of March, “Boyfriend” sold a whopping 520,000 copies in its first week—the second highest of all time behind Flo Rida’s “Right Round.” His album Believe will be released later this year.

In a totally necessary pre-music-video preview video posted on MTV.com, Bieber describes the “concept” of the video as “basically just like a bunch of amazing scenes, like a fire scene, like an ice scene, just kinda like bouncing back and forth” as well as “Some great artistic shots, just shots of me smiling.”

The moon man for “Most Artistic Bieber Smile” practically has video director Director X’s (you heard that name right) name on it already.
