Usually when New Yorkers line up around the block in the early morning it’s for a new iPhone—not hats and T-shirts.
But eager fans lined up extra early this week for the NBA store’s unveiling of the brand new Brooklyn Nets gear.
Departing from the traditional New Jersey Nets red, white, and blue, the new Brooklyn team’s swag is white and black, featuring classic designs and throwback fonts that are already garnering serious Twitter praise.
The Nets recently played their final game in New Jersey, and will move to the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn at the beginning of next season.
With the brand backing of rap mogul Jay-Z, you can expect plenty of Brooklyn Nets merchandise to be seen on the streets in coming months. Turning last year’s record of 22-44 into something a little more winning? That’s another story.
