Barcelona Manager Pep Guardiola Replaced by Tito Vilanova

The Barcelona manager announced that he’s stepping down from his perch atop the world of Spanish—and international—football.

The now former coach of the Blaugrana said: “I don’t have any energy left, I need to recharge. I need to recover the feeling that I had when I first started—time has taken its toll.”

In his four year career at Barcelona, Guardiola’s won 13 trophies with the club:

three La Liga titles, two European championships, a Copa del Rey, two UEFA Super Cups, two FIFA Club World Cups, and three Spanish Super Cups.

Pep will be replaced by his assistant coach, Tito Vilanova, whose transition may not be so hard thanks to the likes of Messi, Xavi, Fabregas, Iniesta, Sanchez, and the rest.
