Remember that time Pat Robertson told you he smoked a Jesus bong and saw God?

Probably not, because the evangelist and 700 Club host says he’s never toked. But Robertson does support legalization.

Yes, that’s right, Pat Robertson and Willie Nelson have something to agree on. The Christian host recently said, “If people can go into a liquor store and buy a bottle of alcohol and drink it at home legally, then why do we say that the use of this other substance is somehow criminal?”

Could Robertson—who has infamously blamed hurricanes and Sept. 11 on homosexuality and abortion—be playing to an audience increasingly interested in the most munchie-friendly glaucoma treatment? Perhaps, but he also says he thinks the war on drugs has failed, and that the Son of God himself was quote “not a teetotaler.”

Good point dude, but watch out. It’s only a matter of time before swat team to your mansion in search of the “Garden of Eden.”
