Bruce Springsteen’s First Single From New Album Wrecking Ball: Classic Boss

The Boss is back like a Wrecking Ball.

That at least is the title of Bruce Springsteen’s new album, which will be released March 6. The 17th official studio recording from New Jersey’s most famous musician and the E Street Band will be produced by Ron Aniello, who has worked with everyone from Canadian rockers Barenaked Ladies to Springsteen’s wife.

The first single from the 13-song album, “We Take Care of Our Own,” has been released, and features just what fans might expect: chugging, guitar-led rock ‘n’ roll primed for the stadium. The record’s release comes after a tough year for the songwriter, whose longtime band mate saxophonist Clarence Clemons passed away last summer.

The boss and his remaining band members are playing concerts in Europe through July, but a source with the Chicago Cubs told Chicago’s Sun Times that the American legend is tentatively scheduled to play Wrigley Field in September. Super fans and ticket scalpers, start your engines.
