Apparently Justin Bieber inspires fanatic fandom even among the tech geeks attending the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The pop star dropped by CES yesterday to help a Vietnamese toy-maker introduce—what else?—a dancing robot. Along with a speaker in its stomach, the robot features some nifty dance moves, and you can apparently plug in a USB device with music for it to dance to.
Granted, the new TOSY mRobo Robot’s introduction was not up to the usual Bieber caliber. There were three microphone failures during the announcement and a screen showing the robot dancing didn’t turn on at first. Still, it’s hard to imagine a better person to introduce your dancing robot than Justin Bieber … who many suspect may also be a dancing robot.
