Conrad Murray Wants To Reduce Cash Sought by Michael Jackson’s Family

Money is a powerful thing—especially when you’re being sued—just ask Conrad Murray. Michael Jackson’s doctor, who was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the singer’s death, is heading back to court to try to prove that it was Jackson who administered the fatal dose of Propofol that killed the king of pop. By pushing for acknowledgement of the victim’s role in his own demise, Murray’s legal team is looking to reduce the roughly $100 million in restitution sought by the prosecution for Jackson’s family. Regardless, Murray has been ordered to surrender his medical certificate and is facing four years in prison.
