Van Halen Returns to Tour With David Lee Roth

Eddie Van Halen and David Lee Roth are back, and a reunited Van Halen rocked a tiny New York City club to show they can still make a crowd jump. According to Rolling Stone, the 250-person venue was crammed with journalists and music industry insiders who went “absolutely bonkers” after the group kicked off their hour long set with “You Really Got Me.” The arena rock band’s small stage performance was designed to generate excitement and buzz for their upcoming tour and new LP, “A Different Kind of Truth,” their first with Roth on vocals since “1984.” Judging from the response of fan-boy-turned-rock-critics, it won’t be long till the band sits at the “Top of the World” again.
