@KanyeWest seemed to be at the center of the Twittterverse last night, as the hip-hop star and infamously unstable awards show stopper spent over two hours feverishly tweeting on a variety of subjects, from education to his representation as an artist.
Most notably, the rapper announced the creation of his new design company, called DONDA. Kanye apparently hopes to “pick up where Steve Jobs left off” and “help simplify and aesthetically improve everything we see hear, touch, taste and feel,” by assembling a 22-department design team boasting everything from architects and directors to car designers, DJs, and nutritionists. Uh … what?
Not stopping at simply revolutionizing aesthetics of consumption, Kanye also described wanting to reshape the American school system, apparently by starting a summer school with Spike Jonze.
Oh, and he may be the creative director of an upcoming Jetsons Movie. Which seems oddly fitting.
