The 49 year old iconic rocker was claimed to be dead by the dubious Daily News Blog International, causing a panic on Twitter and the Web.
Bon Jovi debunked the report by posting this time-stamped photo on Facebook and even called into CNN.
Bon Jovi is the latest in the seemingly never-ending digital death hoaxes, following in the footsteps of Justin Bieber, Bill Cosby, and Morgan Freeman.
