Want more Ryan Seacrest? Well your wish may very well come true.
The Wall Street Journal reports NBC executives are eyeing the American Idol host as a replacement for Matt Lauer on the Today Show.
Lauer, who has co-hosted Today since 1997 has hinted to executives he may be done with the show when his current contract expires, leaving the door wide open for Seacrest.
Hosting Today would further Seacrest’s ubiquitous media presence—along with American Idol, he hosts E! News, a nationally syndicated radio show, and Dick Clark’s New Years Rockin’ Eve.
