Let the latest Brett Favre circus begin.
According to ESPN, a source close to the polarizing future hall of famer says Favre would listen if the Chicago Bears gave him a call.
The Bears who lost starting QB Jay Cutler to a likely season-ending thumb injury now have their playoff hopes riding on interception prone Caleb Hanie who is 0-2 as a starter this season. Bears coach Lovie Smith claims the team has no plans to add a new quarterback.
The 42-year old Favre has now retired 3 times only to return to action twice, and he may be just what the ailing Bears need, assuming Chicago fans could stomach Favre in a Bear uniform.
If nothing else, speculation about Favre finally gives NFL pundits something to talk about besides Tim Tebow.
