Xbox Live is getting a major overhaul that updates its interface to include new options for watching television, cloud-based storage, and improved voice commands through Kinect.
Touting it as the future of TV, Microsoft will offer its 35-million Xbox Live subscribers content from Hulu Plus, Netflix, 26 TV channels from Verizon FiOS and 10,000 on-demand movies from Comcast.
The hope is that future consumers will use one device for music, movies, and games. Microsoft is also trying to stay one step ahead of Sony and Nintendo.
