Donovan McNabb has been released by the Minnesota Vikings. The 13-year NFL veteran and 4-time Pro Bowl quarterback spent most of this season on the bench after a rocky 1-5 start.
McNabb's career has been in decline since being traded by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2009 to the Washington Redskins, who then unloaded McNabb after lackluster performances this past off season.
Now, McNabb might find a role with either the Chicago Bears or the Houston Texans, who have depleted their supply of quarterbacks and are still hoping to make a playoff run.
