Secret Service: Bullet Hit White House

The Secret Service confirms that a bullet hit an outside window of the White House but was stopped by ballistic glass.

A number of rounds of ammunition were found around the exterior of the White House in the aftermath of gunfire last Friday night. President Obama was not home at the time of the shooting. Authorities later located an abandoned car parked near the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge, which contained an AK-47.

The suspected gunman, 21-year-old Oscar Ortega-Hernandez, has been apprehended in Pennsylvania.  He has a record of earlier arrests but apparently no ties to any radical organizations.
