The mere promise of a trailer for Grand Theft Auto 5 on the Rockstar Games homepage has the Internet buzzing about a new installment of the wildly popular game.
Campfireburning tweeted, “GTAV and Grand Theft Auto V trending worldwide. Where is your Bieber now? ”
Though an updated version was rumored to be in the works for some time, Rockstar had remained tightlipped until now. Details about GTA 5, including where the action will be set, won’t be revealed until the trailer comes out on Nov. 2.
Rockstar has sold almost 115 million units of the franchise since 1997. The new game will likely not be available for purchase in time for the holidays.
