Detroit Lions’ Jerome Harrison Diagnosed With Brain Tumor During Routine Physical

Jerome Harrison is trending after it was discovered that the 28-year-old NFL running back has a brain tumor.

Harrison was in the process of being traded from the Detroit Lions to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for Ronnie Brown when a failed physical revealed the tumor and nullified the deal.  Doctors say the discovery might save Harrison’s life.

Harrison was drafted by the Browns in 2006, and in a 2009 game against Kansas City he ran for an amazing 286 yards and three touchdowns, breaking Cleveland’s single-game rushing record set by Jim Brown.

The Lions were looking to improve their depth at running back after Jahvid Best suffered his third career concussion during a loss to the 49ers.
