Patti Stanger Makes Anti-Gay Comments on Watch What Happens Live and The Joy Behar Show (VIDEO)

Patti Stanger, host of Millionaire Matchmaker, is trending amid backlash from comments she made about gay men on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live.  

When one caller asked her opinion on open long-distance relationships, she asked if he was gay. When he said he was, she told him to go for it because, “there is no curbing the gay… you know, I try to curb you people and you just don’t listen.”

Stanger’s comment visibly startled her co-host, Andy Cohen, who responded by saying, “I’m gay, and I’m down for monogamy.”

In an attempt to defend her comments, Stanger took to Twitter saying that she supports “male gays” and then went on The Joy Behar Show to explain herself: “Did I say all gays? I said gays from Los Angeles. …This is the gay community. I’m trying to curb them.”

Not exactly the kind of apology people were expecting.
