#NewFacebook is trending on yet another round of changes to the social media website.
“Top Stories” will try to pinpoint important posts for infrequent users by marking them with a blue triangle at the top of their feed. There’s also a “News Ticker” on the top right of the screen, which allows you to see your friends’ activities unfold in real time in chronological order.
These announcements have been met with the usual backlash, and they come the same week that rival Google+ has opened up to the public, giving disgruntled users an alternative they can defect to.
