Madden NFL ’12 Released; Latest Edition of EA Sports Gridiron Game Also Available in App Store (VIDEO)

Madden NFL 12 is trending as the newest edition of EA Sports’ famous gridiron game hits the shelves.

The Madden series was introduced in the late ’80s and hasn’t stopped evolving as consoles continue to allow for better graphics and higher levels of realism. A new feature in Madden ’12 is something called “Dynamic Player Performance,” which simulates consistency and confidence, resulting in good and bad days for a player in Franchise Mode.

Coinciding with the console releases are iOS versions of Madden ’12 available in the App Store, which, like the cover of the box, feature Peyton Hillis, the Cleveland Browns running back who beat out Michael Vick in the annual nationwide poll to decide which NFL player will enjoy the dreaded “Madden Curse.”
