Facebook Enhancing Privacy Controls in Apparent Response to Google +  (VIDEO)

Facebook is trending, after the social-media giant took a page from newcomer Google+ in regard to privacy and sharing concerns.

Individual status updates and profile information will now have drop-down menus for users to select specific "audiences" who can view their musings, while other tools will allow you to approve or reject posts and photos that someone else tags you in before they are published.

Not all of the features are new, but controls are being relocated to more trafficked areas of the site instead of being buried in privacy-settings pages.

Facebook users can expect these changes to begin rolling out within the next few days.
