OK Go Performs the “Muppet Show Theme” off The Green Album (VIDEO)

OK Go is trending on the debut of their latest music video, “Muppet Show Theme,” which coincides with the release of The Green Album, a collection of Muppets hits as covered by too-cool-for-school indie rockers like My Morning Jacket, Sondre Lerche, and Weezer. The video is a marriage of Muppet mainstays and callbacks to many of OK Go’s most viral music videos. The result is a brew of ’80s nostalgia, layered with mid-aughts nostalgia. All of this muppet-rocker madness is a build-up to the much-anticipated November release of The Muppets starring Jason Segel and Amy Adams.
